Jog logger
This is sort of a work in progress, well to perfectly honest kind of a rough draft. This is by no means
supposed to be a go-to sort of log. There are several free apps that you can get
from the App Store and from Google Play that are far better than this application.
So why would you use this app? That I don't know, but let me tell you a story. When I was
in high school the track season ended in the early summer. There were about four months of
summer before cross country, and our coach for track was also the coach for the cross country
team. Coach McMahon was my coach, I added a quote that he told me, after my personal fail
during an event. Anyway not to make a long story of it, he would give us these sheets of paper
after track ended
to log our jogs. At the end of summer when you turned in your sheets of paper, if you were in the
club of 300 or more miles before cross country came to be, you
would get your accomplishment written on a shirt ( along with your "nickname" mine was Gumby ).
The log was real basic tabular form, hence you can log your jogs however you see fit, but
I kept the idea of that log with this application. So by "signing" up, all I am really giving
you is the same means given to me.
One of the plans that I have in mind is to provide the ability to share pictures of your
courses, and maybe even create a "brag" page, where you can show what you have been up to
out in the field. My first thought is to have something like my course page. All of
my runs take place on the bike path that is close to my house. I was thinking about
adding this to the "cookie cutter", and based on your login you can create your own
course pages.
