All this running is fun and all, but if you are like me, you want to gauge how well
you compare against other runners. You want to get out there and race.
Well running is not like street racing, you can't just end up side-by-side with
someone you want to measure up, give them a look, and take off running in hopes that they understand
that you want to race them. They will probably think you're nuts, will let you go on ahead,
you will win, but that's not really what you were looking for. What you are looking for is here, races.
I am using runsignup.com to find races in your specified area. The site is pretty well put
together, you can search by different types of events and by specific locations and dates.
